One of Jay's friends who is an excellent music photographer - Denise Marie Luko - has captured Jay in a magic moment of concentration at the Baked Potato in North Hollywood in 1980, when he played with some friends in the band Double Scale.

Another "celeb paparazzi" on the scene is Stephan Stenberg who has taken a lot of smashing photos from the Jay Graydon All Stars concert at Kulturkammaren in Norrköping, Sweden February 10, 1996. A couple of these you can see down below.
